Internet Resources The following is a list of websites that we hope will be helpful for both you and your child.   The American Academy of Pediatrics The AAP website is a great resource for information on various aspects of child health including immunizations and safety/injury prevention (including car seats, product recalls), as well as lots of family education information.   Centers for Disease Control and Prevention The CDC website is an excellent source of information regarding immunizations, especially the "travel" section which gives updated travel alerts and recommended immunizations/medications for visits outside the United States (Example: "Should my teenager receive the Hepatitis A vaccine if we are traveling to Southeast Asia?")   Consumer Product Safety Commission The CPSC website is a current and up-to-date resource of recalled child and family products.   Healthy Children For general information related to child health or for more specific guidance on parenting issues.   Poison Control Center of Iowa or Call 1800 222 1222 The Poison Control website offers important emergency information regarding poisoning. The hotline is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
