H1N1 - Influenza

Seasonal
In an effort to reduce the spread of infection, toys and books may be either removed or in limited supply in the waiting room and exam rooms. You may wish to bring your own toys or books for your child to play with while in our office. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Now is the time to schedule your child for his or her Influenza vaccine. We recommend all children 6 months of age and older get vaccinated. Flu clinics will be held on Saturdays throughout October by appointment only. This year, the Influenza and H1N1 vaccines are combined into one vaccination. Those children 9 years of age and under, who have not received the Influenza vaccine before, will require a booster dose one month after the initial vaccine. Additionally, children 9 years of age and under who only received one dose of the H1N1 vaccine last year will also need a booster. If your child received his or her H1N1 vaccine and/or booster dose at a location other than the Pediatric Center, please bring documentation of vaccination so we are able to correctly schedule boosters and ensure the maximum protection against Influenza for your child. All Influenza clinics will be held at the 411 10th Street office.
